Accessibility

We aim at WCAG 2.2 AA for this website. This page states what we have actually built and checked, rather than claiming conformance we have not had independently assessed.

Built in

  • A skip link that is hidden until focused, and moves focus to the main content.
  • One main landmark per page, labelled navigation regions and a single H1 per page with ordered headings below it.
  • Full keyboard operation, including the mobile menu and the scheduling diagram controls, with a visible focus outline everywhere.
  • Diagrams presented as figures with text captions, so the meaning is available without reading the graphic.
  • Motion limited to short transitions, and reduced to almost nothing when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Text and interface colours checked against the paper background for contrast, and touch targets kept at least 44 px on primary controls.
  • Layouts that reflow to roughly 200% zoom and to 320 px width without horizontal scrolling.

Known limits

  • The scheduling diagram conveys sequence through position; the caption and result line describe the outcome in words, but a fully tabular alternative is not built yet.
  • We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit. When the product application ships, that assessment becomes part of the work.

If something on this site blocks you, email hello@takta.software and describe what happened. We will fix it and reply.
