A small software company with one product and one problem.
Takta Software is independent and self-directed. We are building scheduling software for custom fabrication shops, and nothing else. The name comes from takt, the rhythm a production line has to hold to meet demand.
01How we work
We scope narrowly on purpose. Scheduling in a job shop is a real, specific problem with real arithmetic behind it; general-purpose “operations platforms” tend to solve none of it well. So the product does routings, capacity and dates, and stops.
We build with shops rather than for an imagined buyer. That means the design work happens against actual routings and actual work-center lists, and it means we say “not yet” more often than a launch page usually does.
We publish build state on the product page and the reasoning on the method page. If something is not written yet, it says so there.
02Claims
What this website deliberately does not claim.
Pre-release software sites are usually full of numbers nobody can check. Rather than fill the gaps, we list them.
- No customer names, logos or testimonials, and we are not going to publish any until a customer authorises it.
- No user, shop or revenue counts.
- No funding, investor, accelerator or valuation claims.
- No named team members or biographies on this site.
- No security certifications, audits or compliance badges.
- No uptime figures, benchmarks or return-on-investment numbers.
- No integrations listed, because none are connected yet.
- No release date, because we do not have one we would stand behind.
03Contact
Reach a person, not a queue.
Email is the only channel we operate. There is no phone line, chat widget or support portal, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise.
